What is the attire?
The preferred wedding attire is Semi-formal: Cocktail dresses and jumpsuits, dark suits and ties, etc. This applies to the rehearsal dinner as well for those attending. Please refrain from wearing white or any color that resembles white.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Downtown Raleigh has a lot of accommodation options, so we thought it would be better to let people pick which one is best for them.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and cocktail hour?
Yes, there will be a break between to allow for photography of the wedding party, immediate family and the couple. Since children are welcome, this is an opportunity for naps.
Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I'm in town for your wedding?
Check out the "Things to Do" section of our travel page to see some of our favorite spots to eat, drink and explore in our city.
Where will wedding updates be posted?
Additional updates or changes that need your attention will appear on our wedding website homepage.
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
We decided to hold these events indoors to limit the impacts of weather. In addition, there will be reserved outdoor spaces available at the reception venue.
When is the RSVP deadline?
The deadline will be October 10th.
Are kids welcome?
Yes! That being said, we trust parents will responsible with their children if they decide to bring them and ensure no disruptions during the wedding ceremony and key moments in the reception.
